It is about a narrow strip of sand and pebbles advancing in the sea. Its length is about three kilometres! The Talbert Causeway is a protected space welcoming numerous sorts of birds. It is here that the wrack, a seaweed, is collected and then dried. It is still possible to walk on this protected ground by avoiding walking on seaweeds.
