The number one French département for hydrotherapy, the Landes boasts 25 spa establishments.

Welcoming over 55,000 people to take the waters every year, Dax is France's leading spa town. Dax town centre is very pleasant with its pedestrian streets and its typical markets, those of Saturday morning being particularly lively. The centre also boasts handsome shops as well as numerous food specialists located in the covered market hall.

Eugénie-les-Bains is a small quiet and restful spa town. It offers hydrotherapy and numerous health food restaurants.
