Founded in the 7th century by saint Éloi, the Solignac abbey was destroyed and rebuilt several times, and has preserved a wonderful Romanesque church dating from the 12th century from this turbulent past. Inside, visitors will find cupolas, capitals decorated with sculptures and magnificent 15th-century carved stalls.
