The listed villa Savoye, located in Poissy, is the work of the famous architect Le Corbusier. Built from 1928 to 1931 for Mr Savoye and his wife, this villa is today a remarkable example of the architecture of the 20th century. This masterpiece perfectly illustrates the five-point theory of modern architecture, with its stilts, its terrace on the roof, its free plan, its long windows and its free facade. |
