The Noirmoutier island is famous for its salt marshes and its sea salt. Harvested by hand, Noirmoutier sea salt and fleur de sel salt flakes are particularly rich in trace elements.
Used in the kitchen and in numerous recipes, like fish in a salt crust, Noirmoutier salt is also an ingredient in a range of culinary specialities, such as salted Noirmoutier butter and Vendée brioche.
With their subtle violet taste, fleur de sel salt flakes pair wonderfully with grilled meat, fish, potatoes, vegetables and salads.
