At 2,200 hectares, Sainte-Croix artificial lake, fed by the Verdon river, is the largest of the Verdon lakes. The emerald-green water of this stunning stretch of water edged with relaxing beaches makes a beautiful setting for swimming and other water activities like windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking, catamaraning, pedalo boating and fishing. The charming village of Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon overlooking the lake has a beach and water sports centre.
