Reaching 1,147 metres at its highest point, the Sainte-Baume massif is a destination popular with hikers. Dominated by a high rocky cliff, the national forest of Sainte-Baume is composed of beeches, maples and lime trees. In the summer, this forest is very popular for its coolness.
