Numerous artists and celebrities have contributed to the fame of Saint-Paul-de-Vence. At the entrance to the village, the famous petanque game square, immortalised in the games of Lino Ventura and Yves Montand, is a place full of life with its café terrace.

The old fortified village boasts beautiful medieval architecture: ramparts, beautiful stone houses, narrow paved streets, charming fountains... This site is really popular with artists and has a large number of art galleries. Saint-Paul-de-Vence is also renowned for the Maeght Foundation, a modern art centre.
