Built from the 13th to the 16th century, the Gothic Notre-Dame cathedral possesses exceptional furnishings. All around the cathedral, the pretty narrow streets of this City of Art and History are home to mansions and 18th-century houses.
The quaysides in Saint-Omer, lined with typical houses, are a lovely departure point for a boat trip through the Audomarois marsh.
