Rebuilt after 1944 destructions, the city of Saint-Lô nevertheless preserved its charm with its ramparts and its towers dominating the Vire valley.

Through its collection, the Fine art museum tells the tapestry history from the 16th century to our days. It also exhibits the Amours de Gombault et Macée hanging, a work of the 16th century.

Rebuilt to identical, the haras is one of the biggest national stud farm in France and offers conducted tours. During Haras Thursdays from end of July to September, stallions are presented to visitors.
