Situated in the heart of the Vienne valley, on the Way of St James (Santiago de Compostela pilgrim route), Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat is a charming medieval town, which has kept a rich architectural heritage. Along the alleyway and squares, the walker can enjoy beautiful old houses as well as a magnificent Romanesque collegiate church of the 11th and 12th centuries surmounted by a remarkable bell tower.

Below the city, the banks of the Vienne river are very picturesque. The typical houses along the water and the old bridge of the 13th century offer a beautiful view.
