Saint-Girons, the main town of Le Couserans, enjoys a pleasant location on the banks of the Salat. A riverside walk takes in Champ de Mars promenade, Pont Vieux bridge, Saint-Girons church and the Viscounts' Palace (Palais des Vicomtes) and gardens.

After your walk, make a point of sampling a croustade, a delicious local pie made with puff pastry and fruit!

A colourful and flavourful market takes place every Saturday morning under the plane trees on the Champ de Mars.
