Visitors can admire magnificent Romanesque frescoes in the chapels of the 11th-century Saint-Chef Abbey Church. The main chapel, or Chapel of the Angels, which can only be visited as part of a guided tour, contains some remarkable 12th-century frescoes depicting the New or Heavenly Jerusalem that St John saw in an apocalyptic vision.
