The village of Saint-Amant-de-Boixe possesses a magnificent abbey church dating from the 12th century. Inside the building, the Romanesque nave, the Gothic choir and the 14th-century painted murals are very interesting. Next to the church, you can visit the abbey buildings: the cloister, refectory, cellar and kitchen.

Not far from the village, the Boixe forest with its myriad footpaths is a great destination for walking fans.
