A Renaissance château dominates the houses of the medieval town of Saint-Aignan. Although the inside of this castle cannot be visited, the main courtyard and the terraces are open to the visitors and offer a magnificent view of the roofs of the city and the landscapes of the Cher valley. The old town of Saint-Aignan also possesses a beautiful Romanesque collegiate church dating from the 11th and 12th centuries.

Also in Saint-Aignan, the ZooParc de Beauval makes a great outing for kids and adults with 4,000 animals in a pleasant, floral setting.
