Created in the 17th century for the Richelieu cardinal, the town of Richelieu constitutes a remarkable testimony of classic style town planning. To see: its Main street and its 28 town houses; its old halls; its Art and History museum exhibiting souvenirs of the cardinal, furniture and tapestries; its triumph gates; its ramparts and its moats; but also its pleasant wooded park featuring a beautiful rose garden.
