This village, which is composed of three separate villages, is famous for its three AOC wines: Champagne, rosé des Riceys and coteaux champenois. With 866 hectares of vineyards, it is also the biggest wine area of the Champagne region. Produced on the sunniest hillsides, the rosé des Riceys is a wine particularly popular for its quality of taste.

Before Easter, a wine festival is organized in Les Riceys during the of Grand Jeudi fair.
