315,000 hectare in size, the Regional Nature Park of Millevaches in Limousin, reaching 976 metres at the mount Bessou, its highest point, extends over the départements of the Corrèze, the Creuse and the Haute-Vienne.

Wild and unspoiled, this peaceful and vast granite plateau, dotted with forests, prairies, rivers, moors and peat bogs, is fed by numerous springs. The varied landscapes also feature authentic granite buildings, making it the ideal destination for nature and architecture fans.

In the Creuse, walkers should not miss Gentioux-Pigerolles where the picturesque Senoueix bridge, a pretty little stone structure, spans the quiet waters of the River Taurion. Surrounded by forests and moors, this place enjoys a beautiful and restful natural setting.
