22,000 hectare in size, the magnificent forest of Rambouillet will delight walkers, cyclists and horse riders with its footpaths, its cycle paths and its horse paths. In the heart of the national forest can be found the Espace Rambouillet, a wildlife park 250 hectare in size created by the National Forests Office, which offers circuits lined with observation points for wild animals, such as red deers, hinds, roe deers, aurochs, fallow deers and wild boars, living in their natural environment. Magnificent birds of prey can also be admired there. |
