Situated in the municipality of Magny-les-Hameaux in the heart of the Chevreuse High Valley Regional Nature Park, the ancient abbey of Port-Royal-des-Champs built in the 13th century and destroyed in the 18th century has kept some remains of its rich past as illustrated by the ruins of the abbey church, the dovecote and the barn.

Housed in the building Petites Écoles, the Port-Royal Barns national museum recounts the history of this abbey, which was the centre of the Jansenist movement, through its paintings, carvings and books collections.
