Benefiting from a charming environment, but also from remarkable light and an incredibly mild climate, Pont-Aven has inspired illustrious painters, such as Paul Gauguin and Paul Sérusier. This place is indeed charming, with its river, the Aven, decorated with delightful small bridges and former water mills. The banks of the Aven, dotted with trees and flowers, are the ideal place for a peaceful walk. Still today, Pont-Aven attracts numerous artists and art galleries.

This small town is also known for its traditionally made galettes (butter biscuits).
