On a 65,000 hectare surface area, the Pilat Regional Nature Park extends over two départements: the Loire and the Rhône. This reserve protects an important fauna and flora and also offers the advantage of varied landscapes alternating between spruce forests, meadows, and hillsides covered with vineyards. The reserve reaches its peak at the crêt de la Perdrix at an altitude of 1,432 metres. The large number of hiking and mountain bike trails, plus snowshoe and cross-country skiing trails in winter, will delight sporty types and nature lovers.
