In Chartres can be found the Picassiette house, also named the thousand-fragments house, a famous work of artless art realized in the XXth century by Raymond Isidore, and listed today as an historical monument. Earthenware, fragments of dishware and glass mosaic decorate the walls, grounds, ceilings and furniture of the house. Raymond Isidore also decorated his garden and built a chapel and a grave. An unusual and incredibly original work not to miss!
