This town is unusual in that it boasts forty fountains! The sheer variety of styles make it a must for all fountain fans. The town of Pernes-les-Fontaines also offers other gems, such as ramparts complete with towers and gateways, including the beautiful two-towered Notre-Dame gateway.

A theatre and street music festival called Font' Arts takes place in August.
