70,000 hectares in size, the Orient Forest Regional Nature Park protects several distinct areas: The chalky Champagne and its hilly landscapes, the wet Champagne region with its ponds, its forests and its hedged farmland, the three large lakes of the Orient Forest attracting numerous bird species, and the Aube valley. Fans of forest hiking can walk the numerous footpaths offered by the reserve.
