From Berck-sur-Mer to Calais, the Opal coast offers 120 kilometres of sandy beaches, dunes with psammophytes (oyats), cliffs and wild coasts bordered by seaside resorts, such as Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, Wimereux, Wissant, Berck-sur-Mer, and Hardelot-Plage. Certain resorts, like Wimereux and Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, have magnificent English-Normandy-style villas to walkers.
