Situated in the south of the Haute-Saône, this green valley has beautiful typical villages: bell towers of churches decorated with mosaics, sloping roofs of houses and red ochre colour... Here are some of these villages:

• With its fortifications, Pesmes dominates magnificently the River Ognon. The village has handsome houses of the Renaissance period as well as mansions.

• Marnay is a pretty little village with its beautiful church, its old farms, its wine growers' houses and its River Ognon dotted with water lilies.

• Montbozon is also a typical village decorated with an abundance of flowers.
