Built in the 12th century, the Noirlac abbey is a stopping point on the Jacques-Coeur Trail, in Bruère-Allichamps, and constitutes a beautiful example of Cistercian monastic architecture.
In summer, the abbey hosts the Noirlac festival, an international celebration of choral music.
