Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur basilica of Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre, a replica of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, is one of the UNESCO Routes of Santiago de Compostela in France World Heritage Sites (Way of St James pilgrim route). This Romanesque building features a magnificent rotunda whose columns are decorated with carved capitals.
Its reliquary, which contains two drops of Christ's blood, is the subject of a pilgrimage every Easter Monday.
