Located in the municipality of Saint-Gilles-les-Forêts, in the Regional Nature Park of Millevaches, the mount Gargan reaches 731 metres at its highest point. It is steeped in ancient legends and was a centre of the French Resistance during the Second World War.

A beautiful tree-lined path leads walkers to its summit, where you can explore the remains of a chapel and see a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside from the viewpoint indicator.
