Nicknamed Belle de Morteau, the famous Morteau sausage, native of the town of the same name, is a sausage made of pork which is smoked in a traditional way and exclusively produced in Franche-Comté.

Not to be missed: the sausage festival in Morteau, which takes place every year in August.
