The charming village of Montsoreau, listed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, and its magnificent Tuffeau castle, magnificently dominate the Loire river. The Renaissance-style Montsoreau castle was made famous by the novel “La Dame de Montsoreau” ("The Montsoreau Lady") of Alexandre Dumas. It is home to a scenographic track on the Loire river named "Imaginaires de la Loire" (“Imagination of Loire”).

After visiting the castle, do not miss to walk along the beautiful flower-filled alleyways of the village.
