Picturesque district of Paris, Montmartre benefits from an exceptional geographic location being perched on a limestone hill 130 metres high. This romantic place with its typical narrow streets offers a magnificent panoramic view of Paris.

It is here that lived the painters, poets and sculptors of the 19th and 20th centuries, such as Toulouse-Lautrec, Renoir, Monet, Picasso and many others. The charming Place du Tertre square, with its art galleries, its cafés and its painters exhibiting their works, is the heart of Montmartre. It really gives the feeling of being in a village!

At the top of the hill of Montmartre rises the majestic Sacré-Coeur. Half-Romanesque, half-Byzantine in style, this magnificent basilica was erected in 1876 and consecrated in 1919. From the top of the dome, the view over Paris and the surrounding area is stunning.
