Of its religious past, Molsheim has preserved its vast Jesuits church dating from the 17th century and its former Carthusian monastery today home to a museum dedicated to the history of the city and to the memories of the Bugatti family. On the town hall square, Metzig is a beautiful gabled Renaissance building dating from 1525.
