The village of Civaux, near Lussac-les-Châteaux, possesses a Merovingian cemetery which is home to 350 sarcophaguses. The cemetery also has fence made using sarcophagus lids.

Worth a visit as well: the archaeological museum for its collections spanning Prehistory to the end of the Middle Ages.
