The village of Luz-Saint-Sauveur boasts an architectural gem: Saint-André church, built in the 12th century then fortified in the 14th century by the Knights Hospitallers of the Order of St John of Jerusalem. This beautiful fortress-style building is flanked by two towers and has a crenellated polygonal surrounding wall. The magnificent interior contains 18th-century woodwork.
