Built in the 14th and 15th centuries, the former Cathedral of St. Mary in Lombez, a listed Historic Monument, was a bishop's palace from 1317 to 1801. This imposing brick-clad Southern European gothic building is crowned by an octagonal Toulouse-style bell tower with five storeys. Inside, visitors can admire the 16th-century stained glass windows, 17th-century stalls and a treasury, consisting of a Romanesque baptismal font and sacerdotal objects.
Near the cathedral stand a picturesque covered market hall and old brick and timber-framed houses.
