In the 15th century, the Cher was marked by Jacques Coeur's presence, the rich financier and treasurer of King Charles VII. Today, the historic Jacques-Coeur Trail groups together 16 sites, from the Ainay-le-Vieil castle to the La Château de La Bussière, via the Jacques-Coeur palace in Bourges. This fascinating route is also an excellent way to discover the landscapes of the Berry region.
