The famous Imagerie d'Épinal printers and art studio in the chief town of the Vosges was built in 1796 by Jean-Charles Pellerin. Next to the printing company, still in operation today, is a heritage museum that demonstrates traditional printing techniques. It also houses an interesting exhibition on the history of prints, especially those from Épinal. It also shows, through the subjects of the various works on display, how society has changed over the years.
