Originating from the Mediterranean regions, Herbes de Provence is a blend of fresh or dried aromatic plants, traditionally composed of thyme, rosemary, savory, basil and oregano. The Label Rouge (Red Label) quality mark is awarded to herbs grown and dried in south-east France. An essential ingredient in Provençal cuisine, these herbs give wonderful flavour to sauces, stews, fish and grilled meats such as Sisteron lamb.
