Rebuilt after the war, the city of Le Havre boasts modern architecture including residential buildings, Saint-Joseph church and Oscar-Niemeyer cultural centre, which is recognisable by its two buildings in the form of a volcano.
The Natural History Museum is located in the Saint-François, just behind the cathedral of Le Havre. He regularly renews its exhibitions, and has the distinction of being free.
