Goat's cheese is a speciality of the Loir-et-Cher and more especially of the town of Selles-sur-Cher. Made in this area, saint-maure-de-touraine, selles-sur-cher and valençay are goat milk cheeses carrying the AOC quality label. They taste great served with a good farmhouse bread and with a glass of Touraine red wine.
