The Moselle is also known for its crystal- and glass-making expertise, which can be seen in Hartzviller, Lemberg, Meisenthal, Montbronn, Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche and Vallerysthal.

The town of Meisenthal is home to the Glass and Crystal Museum and the International Centre of Glass Art, a centre for research and creation.

The Saint-Louis crystal glassworks at Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche are the oldest in France!
