Connected to the continent by two dune cords, called double tombolo, the Giens peninsula offers series of wild coasts, creeks, beaches and pine forests. Between both tombolos, the Pesquiers lake is a favourite place for migratory birds. The unmissable, delightful small port of Niel has preserved its picturesque character. The jetty for the Hyères islands is in the port of the Fondue tower.
