After the signature of the Versailles treaty, Georges Clemenceau left his political life and retired in the Vendée in fisherman's house looking onto the sea located in Saint-Vincent-sur-Jard. Remained intact since his death in 1929, Georges Clemenceau's summer residence is today a museum which is home to furnished rooms and souvenirs of the Statesman. An impressionistic garden also is to be discovered.
