In the North of the Tarn, the Gaillac wines vineyards extends over 2,500 hectares. This renowned vineyards produces white, red and pinkish wines. The main AOC quality labels are Gaillac Blanc Sec, Gaillac Doux, Gaillac Fraîcheur Perlée, Gaillac Mousseux, Gaillac Rosé, Gaillac Rouge and Gaillac Rouge Primeur.

The wine trail, indicated with road signs, allows to meet the wine heritage of Gaillac. In the city of Gaillac, the Saint-Michel abbey is situated at the edge of the Tarn river and is home to the Wines House.
