City of Art and History, Fréjus has preserved a large number of monuments from its past. The city presents an important historic and architectural heritage with its Romanesque remains: the amphitheatre, the aqueduct, theatre, and the episcopal group. The episcopal group, situated in the old town, includes the cathedral (11th century), the baptistère, the cloister and the episcopal palace. The baptistère, dating from the 5th century, is one of the most ancient in France. In the cloister, the archaeological museum exhibits objects issued from the excavations made in Fréjus.

The sail port of Port-Fréjus, and the sandy beach at the end of Fréjus-Plage are fully part of the popular seaside resort.
