This structure known all over the world is the symbol of Paris. The tower was set up by the engineer Gustave Eiffel for the World Fair in 1889. This masterpiece of 324 metres high contains 18,038 metal pieces and 2,500,000 rivets! On four big pillars, the Eiffel Tower has three floors being respectively at 57 metres, 115 metres and 274 metres. From there, the view of Paris is striking! A park, the Champ-de-Mars, is situated just below.
