The magnificent belfry, UNESCO World Heritage Site, boasts a 62-bell carillon! Off its top, a beautiful panorama of the roofs of the city and the surrounding countryside awaits the visitors. Also to discover, the Chartreuse museum, housed in the former convent of the Carthusian monks, which is home to collections of paintings, sculptures and artworks. Boat tours on the River Scarpe, departing from the jetty of the law court, are offered from May to September.
