Located on the territories of Puteaux, Courbevoie and Nanterre, La Défense is a famous business district offering a series of modern buildings, contemporary sculptures, shops and pedestrian spaces. The symbol of La Défense, the Grande Arche, designed by the Danish architect Otto von Spreckelsen, looks like a gigantic hollowed-out cube covered in white marble. From its roof, the view of Paris is exceptional!

Visitors can also go to the La Défense museum to find out about the history of this famous district.
